Getting here

Access to Tasmania is easy with all major airlines flying from mainland capital cities direct to Hobart.  Delegates who wish to take extra time and see some of the State can also fly into or out of Devonport and Wynyard in the North West, and Launceston in the North.

Delegates can also bring their own transport to Tasmania via the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry.  Embarking at the Port of Melbourne and arriving at Devonport in the Northwest of the State, Delegates would be able to take a leisurely drive to Hobart and have the option to explore such areas as Cradle Mountain, The Central Highlands Lakes, Launceston and the historical Midlands on their way down to Hobart.

Transport to and from Hobart International Airport to Wrest Point or other city hotels is available via taxi or shuttle bus. The taxi rank is conveniently located right outside the domestic terminal building. The Hobart Airport Shuttle bus service departs outside the terminal after the arrival of every flight.

There are efficient city bus and taxi services and a wealth of tourist tours in and around the City.
